mtf maria turri is born from a journey shaped by research, material and memory.

Maria Turri Ferro was born in Verona. She grew up in a family where art and making by hand were part of everyday life: her aunts were seamstresses, her grandmother sewed and embroidered, her father was an artist, and her mother an interior designer and teacher of drawing and art history.

After graduating from high school, she studied Philosophy for two years before attending a tailoring cmasterclass. Experiences and collaborations with companies in the industry followed, eventually leading her to create her own project.

This is how mtf was born. It was a simple yet difficult beginning. From that moment on, the work took an increasingly personal direction.

The project was born from the desire to create essential clothing, far from the need to follow trends. The shapes are constructed through geometric lines, oversized volumes and proportions that allow freedom of movement. The material, the cut, and the hand drawn shape become an integral part of each garment.

Each piece is conceived and made in Italy, with particular attention to construction and finishing. Customization is not a decorative element, but an essential part of the identity of the project.

Every garment begins with a story and is completed by the person who wears it.

This is the idea that guides mtf: not to dress a woman how she is expected to dress, but to guide her towards what she wants to be.

There is a romantic element, built on rational research. Simplicity is never coincidental.
